According to a report from TMZ, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, has died. A source with direct knowledge told TMZ that Ronald passed away in Los Angeles after battling an illness.

On Wednesday, Rihanna's brother, Rajad Fenty, was photographed arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Rihanna was also seen in the car, though she was not visible in the photo.

Rihanna and her father, Ronald, had a complicated relationship over the years. They were estranged for a long period of time before eventually reconciling.

In February 2023, Ronald had expressed his excitement to TMZ about Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, expecting another child together, and he was eager to be a part of the baby's life.

Ronald shared three children with his ex-wife, Monica Braithwaite: Rihanna, Rajad, and Rorrey. The couple split in 2002, just as Rihanna's career was starting to take off. Ronald was 70 years old at the time of his passing.
